The problem: How to ensure an eas tag is correctly deactivated |
The self-adhesive eas tags (see opposite) can be deactivated which prevents having to peel them off product at point of sale. Whilst the deactivation process is realitively easy if the tag is not presented correctly to the deactivator unit the tag could still be active. Then when the customer tries to leave the store the alarm will sound, an embarassing situation for both customer and store personnel |

The Solution: The SDV1112 Hand held EAS Tag detector |
The SDV1112-B hand held detector can easily be used to check the tag on the merchandise has been correctly deactivated The ease of use and discrete shape of the detector mean it can be used at point of sale. The long battery life in operation means the unit can last more than a full day between recharges. |
